Yes, that's why Ore and Oil were able to be sold at 1d.

From what I can ascertain... [which isn't much], ore has the same production values as wood and so no wage grant should be nesscary. Infact I make a profit on wood with 1s salaries, double what most people pay.

Ah, sorry bout that, larask. The 1d wage grant got activated for a day or two by accident (a slip on the settings screen) - was hoping no-one had noticed :)

Other bits..
All schools now earn only 10% of the skill price for the owner.
Give cash has been enabled.
Yes, mines can only be built on the hills near console atm. May add some more regions to other areas if it becomes neccessary.

Also activated the setting which removed destroyed buildings from the map, which should free up some space.

Oh and.. ( i know a couple of ppl arent gonna like this, but hey.. what u gonna do about it? I wrote the feckin game etc etc :] ) .. 'the government' (i.e. not me honest), has applied a special one-off tax to the engorged profits of college owners, resulting in a gain to the treasury of around 900s. (i.e. 90% of the contents of the college investments when i changed the setting). In return college owners have been given 10 gal prestige.

(Apologies to the college owners for having to do that.. but VDZ was right in pointing out that they earnt you too much compared with any other industry. )

Couple more lil changes while we're at it..
'Science Labs' and 'Aircraft Factories' can now only be built in player-built towns. (of which there are currently.. um.. none :] ).

Will look at adding a few more level-1 only buildings in a bit.
