GINO
gino. lovely friend. u should have known i was just antagonising u. HA HA HA!
he may have been joking, but i kinda agree with barrick, and am not joking.
sunset port does seem abaonded and useless.
nearly all the buildings thier don't buy, don't buy at a profitable cost, aren't invested, are owned by jehovah, and are never stocked with stuff to buy due to one or more of these reasons. with the owners useing thier silly 'only i will stock it' method, the buildings just sit around empty and useless waiting for the owners once a week visit to toss in enough supplies to last 10 mins.
until just recently, barrick's buildings were an example of the above.

yeah
hey zar, first it's bärrack not barrick, and secondly, i'm glad that you have the same views as me, it's nice to know that people share my optimism, and secondly, my buildings there are actually doing quite well with my etent having an investment of about 400s. Well sunset port started off ok, but now there's no real structure. Let's not demolish it but instead we'll just have to consider the layout of future towns so they don't end up like sunset port. Hope that helped
Sunset
Yeah, the problem is guys, as soon as it wass built, everyone decided to build things in random places around the town giving it no structure. And, yes zar, there are a number of useless buildings there. And the fact that 'Apocaliville' is right in the middle of it doesn't help matters.
apoc being thier has nothing to do with it, the town was already full and abandoned way before it was built. if anything, blame apoc on jem for constantly shrinking towns to "make people expand", which basicly let people built towns near buildings and get instant free taxes.
people diden't just decide to build stuff in it, the owner and a few of his friends promoted the hell out of it and got any new player they saw to come and build something claiming it would be the best town ever. most diden't know crap about how to run businesses so it went down hill from the time it got its first business.

As i said before, we should all think harder about town layouts and choosing the site for the town much more carefully in future. Did you even know that Rammstein (now KaiserRamm) previously said to me "This is going to be the best town on Sabrada". We all thought good, new town, but then we didn't have much of an idea about how it would end up.
The thing with sunset port was that it was the first of all these "new towns" and people were excited about it being there because initially it was quite nice because there were 2 rows of houses and a few basic shops, which was what we intended it to be, but then a lot of other people came and built their industry there, and we weren't meaning for sunset port to have lots of factories. Basically, the best thing to do is choose and sensilbe location, and block the people who like to build factories in the middle of the road from doing that.

I think sunset..
i think sunset is a dump, there is constant dirt grass all over it no matter how much i repair it, also..... (see what zar said earlier) Huntsville is now much better, the gardens that i built for all the houses , the bar, the fuel, the car showroom, the tuner shop. And its nearby to all the resources: water hole, a tree, starport, sea, road up to waynes, near the racetrack, crow supplies etc...

just like zorro's town...
just like lakeside (zorro127's town) sunset port p*sses me off so badly when newbs just go and crowd the racetrack. Bartlevengros is a noob! his plastics factory sticks out halfway into the racetrack, when i want to take a turn, my car flies up and i have to waste 15secs for it to come down. And zorro and his friends have blatently built walls houses on the track. Pls jem or someone delete these building or move them!
