Minku, Biplaneworld is a LEARNING world, not a battle royale server - that is what Battlezone is for.

The whole point is to encourage further play, not killeverynewbasfastasyou can.

Its a newcomer learning world. Having seen how newcomers perform on Battlezone, the biplane speed is fine for learning.

Again, I would suspect the increased demand for iron ore, allows the steel mills to cycle faster, if a lot are on.

I am used to being around highly technical, highly intelligent people. Sorry. I just hope you don't assume those two higher heights usually comes together. Considering myself inclined into the first group, but far from the 2nd one. No, I don't assume they come together. I was just cursed / blessed ...

Nope, 28 days of RL time - dig out the original thread, if you don't believe me. It went on for pages.

Biplaneworld has been down for a month and a half now. As it has to be recreated, I doubt it will be up any time soon. As far as I am aware, there is currently no way to earn credits in the starting system, unless two people are on Battlezone at the same time - which is rare right now.

However, it would be unfair not to clarify (this post follows a rant/explanation in another topic, so I have calmed down aa bit since posting above). We still say it is 8 bits of data, even if the other seven are zeroed - they HAVE to be, otherwise we risk utilising the existing status of the flip-f...

Re: LAg?

I notice that you often compare this game with Runescape. Well, you'd be pleased to know that this game, I'm confident to say, offers much more. To my surprise, when I saw Runescape, I realised that it was not the Client-server application type of game... but it's a really well constructed Java App...

There's really no necessity to load world information more than once anyway, unless the world version has changed, so in the long run. Would it really matter how much information was necessary to connect to a world?

Idle thought... How about we try to fix some of the bugs / inconsistencies in this world system before we try to advertise. Advertising is pointless with the churn rate we have here - due to lack of newbie help, buggy systems that dun get fixed, inconsistent design, a worldlet shard approach to cons...

[off topic] If food/drink is a boolean value, well, the 8086 architecture processes boolean as 8-bit variables, so just give them an invalid code. I thought this was a C/C++ thing, not related to the architecture, that booleans actually are short ints (or bytes, dunno) ? Boolean are 8 bit variables...

Um, why is the game coded to recognise chemicals and explosives as food anyway? The very fact that it knows to drink chemicals, and eat explosives, as opposed to being random, means that they are registered as food and drink, so why not deregister them? If food/drink is a boolean value, well, the 80...

"why's no one play zoric?" "can economies be immortal?" yep, right back on topic Not really. They tend to grow, mature, and dye back. Either that, or they do sort of have extending surcumstances. VDZ, government buying is NOT an economy. An extending circumstance would be one li...
