Huh?
Be more discrepctive ( Yep,I'm Tired )

I can't seem what you mean since your topic title is there are too many planets (which of course, means too many worlds?) and then you say everyone is spread out ( which means alot of planets are juse spreaded out)

Do you mean there is too many worlds or the planets are just too spread out? :?:

I think what he's trying to say is that there's too many worlds (which is a lie, because I don't have one:when i have a world you know there are too many worlds :P]) and not enough players (true but are you going to pay for advertisement? :) )

Heres a thought, Have a point. IT MAKES IT SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING TO THE LISTENER! :) (ha ha Anyone remember this comment? Is it still in-game?)

He means there are to many planets for the number of players on the game.

So 8 worlds with over 3k players is spread to thin?

3k? lol. gotta think of active players, not just every player that came and left :P

if you think thiers not enough active players for the game, then why not try and get players to come into the game? tell your friends, tell people at work, tell people at school, hang flyers about the game at your work/school, tell people about it in online chat rooms/message boards you visit. your bound to get atleast 100 visitors.

You know I was takin the pi** zar ;)

Anyhow... there are planty of players more would be nice but you have to rember some world's are more active than others, 1/2 of the players are in different time zones...

Just because there are only 3 people on at your time don't mean that there are to many planets... And rember ... Most people play on 3 diff servers at a time so there can never be anough planets ;)

There's not enough (good) planets.

I play on 3 planets, and none of them are underpopulated, plus I rarely find that I'm the only person on the world.

The number of players you have at once only really matters on combat worlds like Iridis and Battlezone, but quite often you'll have enough players to get a game together.

I can decide if I do or don't like your world.
Just only because you work hard on it, doesn't mean it will be good. It just doesn't work that way.

Idle thought...

How about we try to fix some of the bugs / inconsistencies in this world system before we try to advertise. Advertising is pointless with the churn rate we have here - due to lack of newbie help, buggy systems that dun get fixed, inconsistent design, a worldlet shard approach to construction...

thats the general plan... the pre xmas advertising was kinda brought on by the review from PC Gamer... we are currently working to pick up on the issues addressed during that period

I think jason means, that the planets are too few to be scattered through too many systems, and I agree with him, each system should be 4-7 planets, but not all of them, obviously, but i havn't got fuel to go to gyruss, and it's too far away, I'de say move it.

Enough pansy posts that don't answer game issues and cost us bandwidth, please.

thier are systems with less then 4 planets, thiers systems with only 1 planet.

can't really just move gyruss closer though. or some other planet would need to be moved away. thier aren't really too many worlds in my opinion. thiers only 4 that are long term. zoric, sabrada, planitia, and gyruss. the rest are mainly small warfare games that could either be ignored or used to get easy galaxy credits from which if i remember correctly from long ago, is what mit wanted alot of in the starting systems so that new players woulden't get stuck easily

if everyone keeps posting stupid whiny nine page rants that're irrelevant to the topic, they're gonna start finding them magically deleted. like frosted lucky charms.
