SYSADMIN access to your own worlds

Post by Mit »

Um, apparently i've forgotten to note this important point..

On servers 0.66.0 and after, you'll need to add

Code: Select all

SYSADMIN=YourName
in to your serverconfig.txt in order to get the normal level of access to settings etc.

In the new setup, an OWNER is auth level 16, and has access to a limited range of settings and features in the world editor. Mostly cosmetic stuff rather than things that can fundamentally change the world. (This is the level of access everyone gets when creating their own world in game).
The SYSADMIN / SYSOP is now level 20, and thats the auth that gives you all settings control and etc.

Oh and on the theme of random documentation, in 0.66.1 theres a new command
*maprescale [Island_Scale]

Using this will set the settings -> landscape -> Island Scale value and will also rescale the positions of all buildings, trees, static effects, etc etc that are connected to the map scale.
All player positions are also scaled appropriately.
