The display icons are up to the world owner or....?

They're kept in the game's web-content store, but yeh up to the world owner - One day we might get a proper-ish web registration page, meantime if you've got a world, send me the image (128 x 128 png is recommended) and i'll upload it for you.

The worlds that appear in the recommended section are determined by a manual ranking plus factors such as recent activity. (So.. as theres so little of that atm, mostly on manual ranking :] )
