So things are starting to become stagnated and soon a mass majority of players are going to simply quit eating and get bored and take morvis as an example. I thought i would throw out a few simple ideas that wouldn't take years to develop that could help make chapter 5 a little more complex:
1. wellbeing needs to be turned on and fed by different foods and I think we need brothels and that would increase the amount of jobs in the world.
2. new players need a new resource to gather for a tiny profit.
3. wagons. horse+wood in a carpenter shop= wagon that increases inventory or perhaps acts as a moving store/house that people can wander around selling their goods.
4. a port: import/export, allows abundant goods to filter out of the economy for a small profit and allows goods that arent being produced in the world to be bought although at a high price. a good econ player could help run the import/export and it would help stimulate the economy in areas that are failing from under production and help get some of the goods that have flooded the markets like wheat. plus gives new players a chance to sell. Carts would be helpful to get the goods to the port.
5. Hunting/butcher shops: players can make spears and go hunting for a very scarce animal population and each animal make a very limited amount of meat, as to not undercut bread makers. also hunting requires hunting party(minigame) and animals are faster than humans so they need to use strategy. encourages participation in group and rewards with a chunk of animal you can sell to the butcher for steaks.
6. boats/fishing, not auto fish.
7. a way that there can be simple villages that can sustain players. There wont be enough players to make several towns like giza. infact if another town is used giza would be down to a handfull of buildings. but if there are outlying resources, making a village where people can base themselves at and then use tha carts to trade with the major city hub. Village buildings can be real primitive so that a handfull of players can form their own clans without totally leaving civilization.
