I just installed a new router

I need to know what port this game runs off of so I can configure my router to let it run.

to play the game, you shoulden't have to do any configureing at all. if you can browse the internet, you should be able to play.

That's what I assumed, but I've been unable to connect for several days now. So unless Zoric and all the other islands are down, something else must be going on.

firewall perhaps?

on the other hand, if you actually do have to forward the ports, it'll be hard. since the game doesen't use any specific ports. each island owner can set what port they want thier island to use and the client connects useing that port.

personally, i usually use ports starting at 7500
islands i currently have installed use 7500 to 7507.
could easily use more though, dependsing on weather or not i make more islands, or host for other people.

I guess I'll try running my computer as a DMZ and see if that works...thanks for the help, Zar.
