I have an AlienMegaScout it says in the inventory: extra ship stardrive: +10p and ship stardrive/fuel range: 40, because I have L40 stardrive. So this should be 50p altogeather right?

i think u still have a rang of 50. becase mine says only 40 also but i can still travel up to a rang of 43

This is a display bug in the client - as MasterNiCron says, it should still let you go further, just the screen displays the range wrong. Thats been fixed now for 0.54.5.
(Also fixed a separate display bug that meant the 'Ship Stats' in the spacestation always showed your extra stardrive range as +0)
