Saleucami

Post by Bunford5 »

I've seen the planet Saleucami mentioned quite frequently so i thought i'd visit it. When i try to land there i connect briefly with the world and i see the occasional chat message like someone saying "hi" to me but within about 2 seconds i end up back in space with a couple of messages that say "lost connection to the game universe" and "client-> world peer connection disconnected". It also says "you have lost connection with saleucami" or "you have left saleucami" or something similar.

I tried restarting my PC but i get the same result. I'm able to land on other planets but not saleucami.

Where's the beef?

A quick update : A chap called wes was kind enough to advise me to delete all the relevant files in my maps folder. I did that and it still didn't work. He then emailed me HIS files to put in my maps folder and that didn't work either.

Well, I had the same issue a few weeks ago and deleting the map files seemed to work. I figure the problem is the world isn't transferring files correctly... or the client isn't receiving them correctly. I had the same issue with saleucami, zoric, and zion, and was able to fix them all using that method. I don't know if you just need to keep trying that stuff. Anyways, good luck with the problem.

*pats Wes on the back* Good chap.

Well....I had this problem on my world, as soon as jmoyet landed and someone said something he would get kicked.

I don't remember very well, but being the world owner I disabled lazy mode completely in world.exe

Maybe you should get Arklari to do that, and it just might solve you problems, and possibly someone else's.

Disabled lazy mode, I didn't think I had it on anyway but we'll see if it helps.

Good thinking, Mishka, I had no idea that there was a lazy mode, but I just disabled it on my world too. Glad to see a problem resolved.
