Looking to start my own game
A bunch of my friend and I want to create our own game. Where would be a good place to start learning coding for games, and overall game creation?

If I were you, I'd start by using Gamemaker 7. Learn it's scripting language and about all the other aspects of gamedesign, then move on to bigger stuff.

I agree, game maker is the best choice for new game makers. if you pay teh 20$ you can get a regestered version with 3d capibility and alot more stuff.I've had about 7 years of experience with it, so if you have a question you can ask me here or at the forums ( my name is MasterRaven on the game maker forums)Jayecifer wrote:If I were you, I'd start by using Gamemaker 7.
