I miss The Republic

I rember when I first started playing TU many years ago, One of the main planets i was constantly on was The Republic. Moast planets i land on now are long term economy and thou thats all cool i still mis the evolotion based theam (heh and dreaming of getting my biplain back whils trundleing along in a big tub on the water). I'd like to see a few more planets like the repuplic or Treasure Island pop up. so if u know any or possibly
working on 1 at the moment pls let us know

yeah, it's the exact same thing as the republic.. speaking of which, why was the name changed to syv?

Syv is short for Civilization.

syv isn't republic renamed. it is a completely different world that was made shorty after The Republic.

it uses the same design and setup as The Republic except for having a few minor changes. mainly, you can play the whole world by yourself since self stock is allowed and employees aren't needed. so it runs much faster, only a few hours compaired to a few days on The Republic.

The Republic might be back up in its original form.
it just depends on whether or not fooli or magic decide to readd it to the galaxy and when they have time to.
