I need to go to my own world and enter it as a player. Not arrive and type in a code to make myself a player, I need to enter it straight off as a player to see if my allotments are correct, to see if I enter at the right point, and of course to check to see if my schools, bank and a a few other things are doing as they are supposed to.
Now I know there is a code that you can throw out there that makes the game see you as a player (never worked for me) - however that is something you use after you are on the planet.
Is there a way to make myself just a player so when I land I can see things working from player perspective?

can type *clearauth and your name to erase your auth level, to get it back type *makeowner
relogging will have the world re-owner you though. but its good for testing schools and skills.
to have it stick when relogging, you'd have to change the owner= line in the server config to something other then your and name then close and reopen the server and then do a *clearauth. it can be anything, it doesen't need to be another player, but make sure its something that a player CAN'T use. if you write something like "the great king DvdGStwrt" then it wont recognise you as owner thus wont give you any powers, nobody else would be able to use it as there username due to the spaces in it, and people would still know it was you who owned the world.
either way, to test the schools etc, you will first have to not own them.
could .setowner 0 them and then grant them back to yourself with the same command (type *showbill and your name to see your billing number, it'll probably be 2)
however, if you want to really see what a new player will see when they first join, you'll have to change the ownber= line in the server config, restart the server, then *suicide to erase yourself. then when you log back in, you will be just as a new player will be when they first join. to undo it basicly change the owner= line in the server config back to you and when you log back in you'll be owner again. then you can go around and .setowner the buildings back to yourself again and .setprice 0 to make them not for sale.
