Me and my brother both play, and... we have two comps, and we switch comps every day. (comp 1, then comp 2, then comp 1, etc) Also usin ICS to get both comps online with one modem. Problem is kinda obvious, alot of the islands complain about us being multiple users. Any way to fix this clientside?
Oh, for sake of arguement, comp 2 has CrushU (my char) on it, and comp 1 has my bro's char on it. When I'm on comp 1, I run the Island\Clients\Tractor.exe off comp 2 from comp 1, because it says that I'm CrushU with that client.
Brother Problem
I have the same problem. Me and my brother... It is possible install another a-tractor to different location on disk. This way you can use more logins. But anti-cheat system knows and recognizes this. As zaroba said, you cannot earn money then.
It would be nice, if god can test someone, if he is cheating. For example, if he cannot do something simulateosly with his second login, there is problably only one cheater. As i think, it may depend on IP of your computer. It would be nice, if you prove that you two are really different people, god can turn off anti-cheat only for your two characters. Would it be so hard to do?

it is still a bit possible for you and your brother to play, both characters just can't reside on the same computer at the same time, or the multi error would pop up.
when CrashU moves from comp 2 to comp 1, and log in, then your brothers character will then have to log in useing comp 2, to unlink the characters again, then the character on comp 1 would need to relog in order for the game to rerecognise its not linked.
its quite a bit of hassle, so its probably easier for both characters to just stay on the seperate computers. maybe the brother that plays the game more could get the better computer for use with the game or something
and might as well sday this now, as your bound to ask it :
same ip characters can't interact with each other in-game besides chatting and fighting. this is done to prevent people with multi computer networks from just making multies and giving the money to one main character. so, you and your brother wont be able to buy/sell/give with each other.
