internet was down today forcing an ip change and i had closed zoric. now that its back up and running again, its suffering the problem others have mentioned with worlds.
i can bring it up, and it'll be fine, then after a short while, it'll show as no connection in the galaxy and people will be unable to connect to it. i have to close and reopen the server to get it to work again, but then the issue repeats itself. if theres people on the world already, they stay connected without trouble.
theres no errors on the server at all, and no messages about an attempted join at all.
client just sits in the galaxy with a white screen stating 'connecting to world' which results in a 'server did not respond to join messages' pop up error.
port is forwarded correctly, theres no firewall, the correct external ip is being used. nothing has changed.
this is the exact same problem that ciroz has been having for the past month when zoric and sabrada have been perfectly fine. every time i logged off to view texture changes, i had to close and reopen the world to reconnect again.
arg...now zoric wont stay in the galaxy!
Do you have an externalip listed in your serverconfig.txt file?
If so, you'll probably be better off without it.. the gal should sort out correct Ip address. The finite drive list doesnt react the same way (coz its hosted on the chat server) - that currently still needs manually updating when your IP changes, but that shouldnt affect whether you can connect to the world or not.

k, musta been the tinternet pixies then. or solar flares.
anyway.. reply still stands.. if you're using EXTERNALIP in the serverconfig you should probably still remove it. Its not really appropriate anymore (only useful if you're doin somethin odd like trying to connect to a world on the same LAN as the gal server), and probably just confuses things.
