48.8 server seems crashy
just upgraded sabrada and zoric to 48.8 server and when trying to connect, my client was downloading everything at 1kb per sec. if the server panel was up behind the windowed client, it would stop responding. even afte closing the client. the server panel would just stay white and be unabled to be closed, even via task manager and ending its process.
zar could u reply with the details i requested on..

just happened again with the older version.
and yesterday paint said sabrada had a ping of over 25k from the galaxy
rebooted and looked in the system logs and it said the max tcpip connections were reached. probably due to Azurous running and being set to unlimited connections.
so was probably more of a hardware issue
sending the file anyway.

Description:
hmm...set to medium cpu usage.
oh, when the updated world errored out and coulden't be closed, its mem usage was around 25k and i think its cpu usage was 0.
file has been sent.
on a side note, if this is purly hardware related, and to anybody else useing windows xp with service pack 2:
was looking up the tcpip limits and although unlimited in plain windows xp, adding service pack 2 limits the concurrent tcpip connections to 10 for security against worm spreading etc. my former pc had regular windows xp, this one has service pack 2 which is possibly why the stuff diden't happen until now for sabrada and zoric. when the connection limit is reached, further connections must wait in line before being accepted (explains why i coulden't access web sites earlier when it happaned)
according to the error logs, the tcpip thing happened before posting this topic, during last night (when paint said it had a high ping) and just before the worlds errored today. both of the times that it happened when i was here, when closeing and restarting the worlds, they had an error stating "Irretrievable error naming socket. this program will now exit. not much we can do about this".
so...for anybody else with windows xp sp2 and hosting a world or useing file sharing programs, you might want to goto http://www.lvllord.de/ and download the EventID 4226 Patcher (the tcpip error is event id 4226 in windows). the file will modify the tcpip.sys file and let you override the built in connection limits and let you specify how many connections can be made into or out of your computer.
