Difference between Surface Environment Settings?
What do they all do? The quicksand doesnt make me sink, and none of them seem to make a difference except ice, do they make a difference or are they not programmed yet?

Oh ok, thanks! I tried the quicksand, and you dont sink
It would be cool if you did! i am gunna make a parking spot that pulls you down into the ground when u try and park!!

quicksand afaik isn't yet implimented, though the manual has mistakenly claimed that it is from time to time.
should also be mentioned that surface properties generally affect the surface in a way that impacts gameplay (tiles that make you gain damage, tiles that don't allow you to fire your weapon, etc).
in contrast to surface environment settings, which create an effect on the surface mimicking a type of real-world environment (driving on dirt kicks up mud, driving on snow makes you slide around, etc)
look in the manual under island user guide--->customising your island---->surface properties for the full list.
