I'm not expecting anything having highest Prestige so you should't expect anything having highest credits. ( Since the Galatic Trade system isn't fully in place)

yes therell be various prizes for prestige and gal credits after the gal reset. We'll need to spend a bit of time beforehand finishing & balancing the trade system (partly be watching who does well and how in the current systems) - any feedback on the current setup is most welcome, as itll help speed that process up...

Do I get a world then? :P j/k

Anyways;
Computers are usually very profitable. You can buy them for pretty cheap prices and sell them for pretty high prices. Great trade.
Foodstuffs aren't worth it. You can only carry 40 tons, and since one foodstuff is one ton, you're better off trading computers (they are 1 ton per computer too).
Industrial Machinery. Worthless. Nothing I know is buying for more than the lowest sale price in the whole universe. This definitely needs changing.

InfImps and Cargo Bays and Cargo Transports sell for the same price at each station and buy for the same price at each station. No profit there, but the prices are good. However, it would be useful if you could switch between ships (the standard ship moves faster than the cargo transport).

All other stuff only sells, but doesn't buy. And all slaves are out of stock.

Also, we need better stardrives. Better stardrives means you can trade more between star systems, right now only Cirrus Minor -> Tau Ceti and vice versa works.

Also, are the stations automaticly restocked? If not, they should.

(BTW, can a stardrive please check if travelling is possible before checking if you have enough Uridium? I bought Uridium and found out later that travelling between those two systems wasn't even possible.)

better watch out Kirby, Ghelna8 is whipping up the competition, his guide is getting almost bigger then yours. He is also using screenshots. On the scale he might pull off close to 450 CP, if does it right.

thanks for the info there vd..
Nothing I know is buying for more than the lowest sale price in the whole universe. This definitely needs changing.
aye yeh.. this is all setup stuff thats not been completed yet. The gal econ has a bunch of files similar to the buildings.dat on worlds, which allow me to dynamically change the supply, demand and base buy & sell prices for the different items..aint got round to setting much more than the first couple of types, but you should start to see more possibilities over the next few days.
Also, we need better stardrives. Better stardrives means you can trade more between star systems, right now only Cirrus Minor -> Tau Ceti and vice versa works.
Will be added this week.
Also, are the stations automaticly restocked? If not, they should.

They dont yet, will soon... its part of the gal settings stuff mentioned above.. different planet types will produce (and use) different amounts of different items.
BTW, can a stardrive please check if travelling is possible before checking if you have enough Uridium?
k.. will be in next gal server update.

InfImp drives can only transport light ships (in other words, you can't use it while carrying cargo).
