Bug report problems

I have seemed to have forgotten my login for the bug reporter. My username Jemrada is already ysed so i know it is in there. I tried ot have it send a activation link again but get this error.

hmm ye i must try and sort some time out on the bug tracker... however theoretically you should be on there and just need to log in using your existing site login and password... that is of course all very theoretical.

yep in fact it is only one error message that is that i havent specified the smtp settings for the notification of new members yet..... mainly because ...

1.its all gonna work from a single login to the site.

2.ive got to manually copy the contents of the Universal user database int the bug tracking database but before i can do that i need to write a script which adds a user to thge bug user table at the same time as the universal database.

3. last conversation i had with mit re the bugtracker is that the actaul tool will only be for staff and there will be a web based submit bug and view your submitted bugs section linked from the main page of the site.

so... the soluition? from tonight the link to the bug tracker will only be available to Staff, game ops and world owners. all of the people in those groups will automatically have user logins.

Everyone else will need to wait until i have time to code the rest of the scripts ... with the current work level i have (paid) that could be at least a week away as of yet.

You should be able to make the bug tractor read the users from the universal database without having to have two databases. If you know how to do that sort of thing.

atlhough why i would want to change aprox 200-300 sql statements to relfect the other database im not sure when i can just add 3 lines of SQL insert code in the normal registration screen to update both datasets at the same time im not sure

this is really a time issue for me at the moment, the bug tracker needs a signifigant overhaul to pull it into the site design, which i believe mit has started and i need to finish
