lil note in response to thread on general ...
the clientside max wildlife setting can be overriden by certain wildlife AI types - Currently that applies to mode 3 only. (If you have 200 wildlife all with AI type 3, every client sees 200 irrespective of their clientside setting.)

This mode was added a long while back as some worlds will want to enforce a certain amount of wildlife for gameplay reasons.
Please note tho, that anywhere with large numbers of wildlife (particularly wildlife using high-detail or non-LOD models) is likely to be painful for ppl without higher-end PCs. (i.e. me!)

heh :) but yes if we get killable wildlife in place it will be cool.... while we are discussing wildlife...

on Vector i keep finding wildlife on the very edge of the map under the sea they seem to line quite nicely and dont really bother anyone but just thought i would mention it :)
