running problems

err hey everytime i try to run the game it comes up with this error message:

Couldn't find a suitable z-depth format. you may need to change your desktop display format for this game to work.

can anyone tell me how to sort this problem?

That's an error I was getting a whiles ago. Two ways to sort it:

1. check ur directX version. if you haven't got at least 8.1 this may be one of the problems.

2. get latest drivers for ur graphics card. this usually solves to problem.

u might also want to try changing your desktop colour resolution to 32 bit (or if its on 32 bit change it to 16..).

tried both of those still doesn't work, i hate this computer nothing works on it

Hmm. That kinda suggests it's more a problem with your PC than the game. We don't really have accurate "minimum system requirement" details, but generally it's felt that as long as you have a 300Mhz cpu, a directx 8 capable graphics card with at least 8mb of graphics RAM, and 64Mb main system memory, you ought to be able to get it to run somehow. Can you run other 3d games? Post your system specs and I'll see if we can't work out what's going wrong :)

Well... that's more than enough. If you're generally having trouble getting stuff to run it could be one of a thousand driver or hardware or windows-related problems. Usual advice, then: make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card, sound and motherboard; get the latest directx; and try a clean install of the game, then update to the latest patch.
