I have been messing around with the life settings ever since I have had th eowrld up. Yes, I have read the manual on what they each mean but I guess I am useing the wrong componation or something. I have turned off and changed numbers and so on and so on with the life settings to get a decent if any good health decay and recovery. But it seems I do one thing and peoples charectors will stop eating when they are in there houses or they can't gane health by eating. Then I will change a few things and it be a dramatic change, way to dramatic. So I change another thing and its like I go back and forth and can't tell what the dillie is going on.

Hope that is understandable.
What I am asking is, can someone get me a default setting to maybe use or suggestion a couple numbers. What I am trying to get is for people to die in 7 games days without any food or drink. Drink ganing alittle faster then hunger though. Also wanting to make it where if they have food in there house that the charactor will auto feed himself when they are offline.

Can I get couple ideas from you? I am sorry if you don't understand what I mean or if this is to stupit to bother with as I probly shoul dbe able to do this with the aid of the manual.

i have zoric set up as:
Online/Offline Needs/Health Loss Percentage all at 100
At rest needs/health = 5
Heaklh increase Max = 75
Health Decay Standard = 50
Max Health Decay Standard = 17 (to make you die after about 80 game years)
Hunger Increase = 500
Thirst increase = 750
starving health decay = 100
Low needs health gain mod at 5
Hunger/Thirst Loss modifier both at 50

The ending result of the above is 2.5 hours outside of house without food
about 2 days in a house without food.

how do you want people to die in 7 days? in house? out of house?
for in-home, easiet to just lower the at rest needs percentage to 2% or something. this would only effect the at home stuff, and without food, useing the rest of the above settings will result in about 7 day life span without food or drink, in a house.

if you want it equal for at home and out of homeand both at a 7 day span, then set the at rest stuff to 100, and just adjust the hunger/thirst increase rates. lowering them to 100-200 will probably do it. or could just slow down the health decay rate starving so that you die slower when your out of food.

in any case, the character should auto eat while at home. only reason i could think of it not auto eating and dieing would be in the decay rates were too high and fast and the normal eating/drinking coulden't keep up with it. if its only happening to 1 or two people, make sure they don't have chems in thier house :P

there are a lot of things in the manual and even with current setups that are either totally fecked or miraculously working passably. this should clear up a lot of the math and incorrect numbers that're in the present manual.

Ok, they will die now with the settigns you gave me in about 31 days. That will give me somethign to work with. Thanks Zaroda.

One thing I wanna ask is this. I am in my house and I have alot of food but it seems that it will keep saying die in the 3 days and 10 hours real time no matter if I add more food. Once it went up to 3 days and 10 hours it no longer added the legth of time for me. What could that be?

might try lowering the Max Health Decay Standard maybe, but i doubt that's it.

i guess solved in-game
he has a faster day time on subrada, so that makes a bit of a difference
turned off the fast night setting he had on, and that drastically increased survival time.
