3ds max 6 exporting errors

what ever I do 3ds max desides not to export the uv map I made...

can you help us foolie just go through my settings and see if I am missing anything?

ah the converter is broken...

ya have to export in 3ds from max... convert to x with another program and then convert to .atm.

Jus spoken to fooli and apparently the 3ds importer basically works for him (except for some slight problems with the lighting/normals). So leigon, could you send me an example of the 3ds export you're creating that doesnt import right and i'll have a look at it in the debugger.

Might be worth having a word with fooli about how you're mapping stuff in max - there's some specific procedures you need to use there. I believe he's posted some guides and links to guides previously about how to do UV mapping in max.

it was working for me fine yesterday when making an animated truck.
