defense weapons and weapon scripts

my current notes on assigning the weapon to a defense building contain:

0 is plasma
1 is cruise
2 is simple missile (and any non-recognized values default to that)
3 is machine gun
4 is tommies or somethin
5 is "weaker" plasma
6 is grenade

before i start trying to sort this out testin it up and down in the client, any idea how this stuff might be affected? i'm guessing it's either going to work exactly the same or not at all unless it was caught and revamped when the scripts were added in...

My guess is "not at all" :] .. will have a look at em tonight..
