would still like more reason to remove the parts from the mill (sorry)
doing so would leave room for 1 less building on peoples islands, since thiers a 30 building max. the set is already useing 24, which leaves 6 open spots for bank, school, town plinth, and 3 houses. adding another fac to the set currently would either scroll down the building list causeing any ornamentals used and qwerties island to look messy and full of broken buildings (not to bads really, qwerty's island is still empty i think). could stick it at the bottem, however then some might not see it, and they'd be asking me why no parts are made after having thier island developed. changeing it then would result in messed up buildings and broken building models on the island.
the downside to how it is now is that players are Forced to make them even if they don't want to (which i'm guessing is why you want it changed)
a simple solution is currently in place. you no longer HAVE to make car parts if you own a mill.
car parts are now made at a rate of 20 out of 25 metal and 2 chemicals.
this does 2 things: it lowers the cost of cars alot (used to be that vehicle 21 cost over 20k, now it costs over 3k), and players will only make vehicle parts IF thier mill buys chemicals.
