Zar,
Sorry to be naggy, but theres been some problems latley, I can gag (which helps) but i cant kick (if it comes to that) so if you would like to, please give me the kick command, I won't abuse it (or test) because i did on my op level, so sorry for that...

oh, probably should have mentioned before, useing commands for personal gain (like *goto, *resetneeds) etc would be considered abuse of powers. thier mainly meant for halping new players out. like, if a new player gets lost, you could *bring them, or *resetpos them, or if one is having trouble with something, you could *goto him and help out.

commands that knights can use (besides the regular anybody commands):

Baron Commands
The following commands are available to anyone with Baron authorisation (Level 4) or higher.

*firework
Lays a firework at your current position

*msgowner (MSG)
Leaves a message for the Island Owner. Messages can be up to 200 characters long. The island icon on the owner's computer changes to a small mail icon to indicate the presence of new messages.

*pageowner (MSG)
Displays a short popup-message on the Owner's desktop (lasting for about 5 seconds or so..). Page messages should be kept brief, (less than 32 chars) and obviously, theres no guarantee they'll be read.

*rotatebuilding (NUM)
Rotates the nearest building (if you own it). The number is from 0 to 31, so, 8 is 90 degrees, 16 is 180 degrees, 24 is 270 degrees etc, etc..

*showfuel (NAME)
Displays how much fuel the named player currently has.

*usage
Displays how long you've been playing on this island.

Knight Commands
The following commands are only accepted if you have Knight authorisation (Level

or higher

*flog (NAME)
Flogs the player

*gagsounds (NAME)
Stops the player making noises (i.e. horn and voice messages)

*autoteams (NUMBER)
Automatically balances the team game (um, cept its a bit broke and prolly doesnt work at all anymore :] ).

*ballreset
Resets the hornball (if active)

*me (TEXT)
IRC stylee emote

*suspendhealth (NAME)
Freezes the health loss for the named player until they next relog.

*resetneeds (NAME)
Resets the thirst & hunger of the person named.

*setbirthtown (NAME) (TOWN_NAME)
Sets the named player's birth town.

There has been an incident today, zar.
And well the *bring command, *kick command would be very good. *bring command for the person to get unnatached from the sufferor, and when it got out of control the *kick command would come in.

First off... The lack of proper authorities is becoming apparent with more newbs coming in... The ops that are normally on have been logging in less, i dont see hardly any other god cept Matt and hes only there a few minuites every few days it seems... 2 new knights... but knights cant enforce anything that talk in that ooo so scary orangeish text and gag... The level of respect for fellow players needs to increase, and has to be enforced by people capable of showing authority and that give help/advice/law enforcement. The incident tactical was tlaking about was 1 player who hitched to another *thank you zar ever so much for turning collisions on... Again...* and refused to get off, then harased the player.

I'm on often enough to be addicted, as scrag. Both of us could do the later times of american, the time in Australian when I am on/off (on, some off, then on) starts from 3:30pm - 7:00pm sometimes 8:00pm Monday - Thursday, other days would be later, and more often.

i would recommend joining a chat channel...

as although there is not necessarily ops and up on the world they are quite often around the galaxy somewhere

i'm not going to read all that, but i spoke to you in game and you told me the gyst of it.

althought we know reuges is very annoying, someone should point out to sergel not to swear like that.

EDIT: we could create a chat channel called Ops or somethin, where the ops could be on it so they can be contacted ?? any other idea's?

it would be neat if thier was a coded in op channel type of thing.
maybe a player could type in something like *msgop need help and the island would tell the chat server to send the message to all player that are knights and higher on the island no matter where they are in the galaxy.

might be a bit nicer then an actual opchannel. because a chat channel, alot of people might get on it, some that are ops on one island but not another, or players that joined it to get an op and never left it. it would end up like a regular island chat

I guess that's the downfall to not having read all of it. Because the "gist" of it is that BOTH of them were cursing up a storm...admittedly, rueges being the worst. I think this might be part of the problem Knight alluded to....Rueges is *known* to be annoying, and yet, is still allowed to be (see the chat log). The lack of respect for other players or forget respect, how about common decency, from some people makes for a poor game experience for others. Perhaps you did not intend to minimize what rueges did (the pitfalls of chat discussions), but reading your post, it sure does read as if you are. Someone needs to point out to *both* of them not to swear like that.

As for the chat channel, it is probably a good idea since, like magic pointed out, the ops/gods are often around *somewhere* in the galaxy, not just necessarily on that island. I have had players contact me on msn and ask me to get on and deal with stuff in the past. Although i refuse to get on and gag for what happened prior to me logging in (i don't have access to the chat logs and don't feel like getting into a "he said, she said" fight), I can at least get on and deal with stuff that happens after that. So, i imagine the chat channel would be beneficial in that respect (since, no, i'm not suggesting op msn screennames become public knowledge

)

in my mind this is pretty rediculous.. first off this kid has been annoying me sinse the night he died and sinse there aint no wepons i take care of it in a manner i think is resonable. now unfortunately what u didnt c on there OF COURSE is where i apologiezed and this kid kept it up. zar i think if u check bak to the source of this prollem which is a couple years 3 years ago or so, this kid bought a farm or sumthin from dude maybe ithink it was, and then he died... it was his fault and he demandedto dude he get his money back.. then he started swearing and all that other sheet so i simply told him to feck off because i was there and experianced this first hand and this noob was sittin there swearing at fellow players because his dumbass died... see im even gettin irritated and swearing just thinkin of this moronic phony. so after this he got is reset and logs will PROVE he was on a phony mission just to pansy me off. which he damn well did. so i had the right to pansy him off just as much as he did me.. so i was hitched on him....HE DID THE SAME FECKIN THING PLENTY!!!! NO ONE HERES ABOUT THAT THOE CAUSE IM NOT A WHINEY ASS. i put sheet behind me cz i dont feckin care, i just want toplay a tractor. so all i can say is it is rong for me to be banned, and UNJUST. the logs are your proof............

erm...if you put stuff behind you, then why the whole ciursing at him, hitching onto him, etc stuff due to something that happened nearly 2 yewars ago?

and how could he have been annoying you since? you ere gone for nearly a year and a half after getting banned in all islands in late 2002 for cursing me out and makeing makeing religios, racist insults to me and crashing all the islands with the bugged flags. and i've rarly seen him around.

the whole thing stopped a while before you PM'd a "i'm sorry ^-^" to him and he diden't reeply or say anything. you diden't appologize during it at all except for saying "sorry... i dont know netherland talk..".

and how can you say the ban is unjust when you spent an hour cursing at him, and keeping him from moving before he said 3 lines of curses?
but anyway, thanks for showing how bad collisions on zoric are.

if you want to play, do so without cursing your head off for no reason.

erm... if u didnt know im talking about 2 yrs ago game time, and if u really did look i apologized more than that... overall point being i wanna play a tractor not play atractor+a kid named serdal bugging my ass all the time. and if u say play it without doing all this stuff, i have been banned. so unban me and any mother fecker that tries to talk sheet ill just ignore... like that better?

and i read the whole thing upto knights screenshot.
otherwords thierd be bits and pieces left out and stuff in it that had nothing to do with it.

shortly after knights pic it calmed down, you apologised for not knowing netherlands talk, and a while after that PM'd an i'm sorry ^_^ to him which i woulden't be surprised if it was just as sarcastic as all the i wanna be your friend stuff that was in it.
