ok mit its been long enough the way it is.
eveyone is getting tired of the renting system as it is and it need to make more logical sense than whoever rents getts full control of the building and cant stop paying rent.
this is what i belive needs to happen:
1) Renters should not even have the demolish building etc. option as thats crazy.
2)Building owners need to be able to kick out their renters after a delay period like the tax change wait time but shorter than that:P
3)renters need to be able to terminate thier rent the same way. Ive had enough of ive rented your building and im going broke:P.
4)renters cannot sell the a building they are renting:P
5)(i hope you already cant do this:P) renters can never rent out buildings they are renting.
also i think mabey include demolish for the owner at all times but i dont know what do you think?

Well, without sounding mean here this is what i have to say...
You haven't investigated what the renters can and can't actually do.
1) it says they could demolish the building (as its an action in the building menu) but if you tried, then you would realise this wasn't possible as it says something like 'This is only up to the owner'
2) Um, i don't think they should be able to evict people as sometimes the person won't be on to accept they are being evicted. I think the way it is now, is that your taking a little risk renting out something because you have no idea for how long it will be before you get it back.
3) There is an option (set by the world owner) which controls how long someone has to rent a building for before they are able to stop. This could be set at 1 year, and after that they can stop renting (this is to stop people renting a business with 200s invest in for 1 day removing it and stopping renting.)
4) They can't (see 1 for details)
5) As above
So my summary, the renters building screen menu's are very untidy and should be modified, but its not that big a deal, and is extremly low on the Priority list right no i'd imagine - that goes for the whole rental system, including this point

2) I agree, but in normal life, theres a contract so here it's the same. They can apply for residency after a year, but that actually is broken... Contract meaning you stay in the building for so long (renting)

ok sry i didnt know perfectly but thats ok i was going of of someone who was renting because i havent ever rented anything:P

or does it work like the renter states how long they want to rent at the begining>no right?

when a renter rents, they need to have enough money to pay the first 6 months of rent.
a renter can only stop renting after 1 year, this is to stop people from renting a building, removing the stock and investment, then stopping renting.
it would be nice if the owner could evict a renter, but it would have to be so nobody would get screwed. in real life, a landlord must by law give 30 days prior notice when evicting somebody. this is to allow the person time to find a place to move to and to move out. since in-game people don't always play regularly, i would say 1 game year prior notice to eviction. but that even isen't enough time for many people as alot only come on once every 2 or 3 days.
