OK so I've set up a folder called remote worlds and set up folders for my planets. I tries putting my old data folder for the new data folder and a new maps folder. I managed to get my heightmap uploaded but I can't get my texmaps to upload. .Autotexmap 16 played a texmap, but not the one I wanted, it played down the old default texmap. I tried to delete the texmap but it still shows.
Basically the main question is... Is it going to be easy to re-set xebec back up? Lol
hey I need help setting up xebec on this remote world thingy
Well its unlikely to be easy.. If it was easy everyone would be doin it ;]
Right now.. the simplest method (and the one im using to mess around with world stuff) is to create one locally.. that way you can make a world even if you're offline or one of my central servers is down. Create a world using the current frontend and template - it'll appear in your user folder in a LocalWorlds directory. After that all is pretty much the same as normal, except that you can just fire the world up by joining it through the client.
not sure what auto-texmapping options are working right now, but you've got
and scripting a lil something up that does whatever you need shouldnt be too tricky.

Code: Select all
*settexmap texmapNum,x1,y1,x2,y2

Download the full server.
http://www.theuniversaldownloads.com/me ... ll0699.exe
Install it someplace simple (like c:\server)
After it's done installing, go into the c:\ drive via 'my computer'
right click the c:\srver folder and select copy, or hit control+c
Connect to the remote desktop
Go into the c drive via 'my computer'
right click and select 'paste', or hit control+v
wait for the stuff to be copied over
open the folder, double click the server, hope it runs without mit having to reregister it for you.
