Seems to be the time of the month. Unconnected with last time, had a power outage overnight. Things are on their way back up now.

Will have to have a dig on the zion thing.. could you try turning off the postprocessing and other effects in the frontend video options and see if removing any resolve it?

I turned all the things off in the new settings area and still crashes. Same landing on Ariya as welll, so i'm going to just assume all planets. Doesn't give me anything to get any further details with. just a close button.

whats your windows version?
Were you ok using any of the interim 6.76 patches? (i.e. Have you seen the shiny post-process stuff working?)
Could you try with a fresh install if you haven't already?

0.67.7 also now uses the Windows User App localdata folder for DLC - so it no longer writes to Program Files\TheUniversal\ by default.

If none of the above works, could you try deleting the 'Games For May' folder in your user account's AppData/Local/ folder. Might be that a dodgy file got created there while testing the earlier versions. (If this helps, I'll add a 'Clear Cache' option to the frontend.)

Given that I and others don't seem to be having problems landing on worlds, then if none of that does any good its head-scratching time.

i was using .6, i didnt get .6a on this laptop, and .7 was by way of ingame update. I did a fresh install to a virgin directory and it resolved.

mm, ok.. interesting.
If you get chance, could you possibly zip up your old dir and post it somewhere (or mail it to me)? I'd be interested to find out what it was in there causing the crash.

I have not had time to mess with packing and uploading it here at work yet, but I can tell you that i can only land on a planet once with a fresh .7 install. Any after require a reinstall to land without an error requiring closing. But no error info, just abutton to close the message.
