Back to Space

Post by Mit »

Tomorrow (probably late tomorrow :] ) we'll be heading back to space - all characters will be reset and you'll need to play through the introduction world again. (But this time with a different ending).

Space has had a few visible tweaks (many more to come..), including various new features most of which are either placeholder or disabled for now. A lot of work has gone in to backend systems to allow for more scalable hosting as well as integration of scripting to the galaxy ; allowing more dynamic creation of missions and special events in the future.

During the next couple of weeks we'll be adjusting and setting up the galaxy, after which time another reset will occur. We'll then run Space for a few months while new worlds (and world systems) are added, along with missions, goals and whatever else floats our collective boats. Sometime in 2014 a full 'beta' run will take place, with some significant updates to game-flow, engine and features.

Hopefully see you round the galaxy.

Aye if I recall thats planet 73, I also noticed as you approached the planet the starport was invisible too if you approach from the direction of the sun, approaching from any other direction and it was visible again.
