Career Opportunities:
Miner - Work at Iron or Gold mines producing 1 ore every 20 minutes and pay 1-2d per 10 minutes. Mines do not require raw materials and ore goes pretty quickly, so mining is a good way for newer players to get started.
Farmer - Farms produce roughly 8-12 wheat or alfalfa every 10-24 hours and pay about 1s per harvest. Crop yield can be further increased (~15-20 crops per harvest) by ploughing before planting. Be sure to check the farm within 24 hours of planting to harvest crops and collect wages.
Lumberjack - The lumberyard produces 1 wood per 10 minutes and pays 1-2d per 10 minutes. Lumberyards do not require raw materials and wood is used in the from of each new building.
Miller - The mill produces 1 flour from 2 wheat every 10 minutes and pays 1-2d per 10 minutes.
Baker - The bakery produces 3 bread from 3 wheat every 10 minutes and pays 1-2d per 10 minutes. Bread is essential to survival and will always be in demand.
Potter - Work at the pottery producing 2 bricks from 4 clay every 10 minutes or 1 Clay Pot from 1 clay every 10 minutes and pays 1-2d per 10 minutes. Bricks are used in the construction of nearly every building..
*You may also make a profit by gathering from clay deposits scattered around the world and selling to the pottery. Check the 'storeroom' tab of the pottery to see if they are currently buying clay.
Blacksmith - (details pending)
Hostler - (details pending)
**Please note that wages are payed only when goods are being produced. Production will cease if the product storage is full or the raw materials are empty. Please be patient while the building owner sells his products and restocks materials.
You can learn up to 3 skills at once and you can 'forget' a skill if you are ready for a career change.
