How do we sign up for the boat? I look forward to new prospects in new land. Leaving behind my family to work abroad. Do we need to physically apply for it? Or is it automatic?
Yes, I've found him and secured a place on his ship, thanks to some kindly people ingame. Looks like Chapter 5 may take place in what might be present day France?
On a side note, if all chapters were to end like such, as well as introduce such famous persons of history into contact with our avatars, wouldn't it be nice to have the ability to create a "family tree" Basically a write up about famous people met, previous names, generations etc. I think it'd be pretty neat to click on a player and view the history of his character, or notable actions he may have contributed both positively or negatively to the game and the community of that chapter. Or a way for a player to look back at the history of the chapters and reminisce of all the great times he had on each specific chapter/lifespan.

yeh, sounds funky, though probably a beta-run thing. (Unless the amount of time i get to spend developing the game changes radically).
I do have a similar item on my TDL called 'lifestories', which is intended to be a thing where the status & events of your character is used to auto-generate a webpage. So you could click on a link like 'theuniversal.net/lifestories/odin' and see a page showing you your stats, what you've eaten recently, any tasks you've been doing or recent events your chap has gone through.
Again, thats probably a beta-run thing...
