A Money Making Guide for Chapter 3

Post by LordMarcus »

Introduction
Hey guys, I've been playing this game for a while now, and I've come up with some ways on how to make money in Chapter 3. There's probably more ways, and some of you may already know some of these. However, here is a short list. This is not meant for a beginner, that's Omni's guide. These are extra money-making tips for those who are already established.

1. Gold Mining.
Skills: Mining, Metallurgy
Required Buildings: Forge, 2-3 Gold Mines.

Pretty Self-Explanatory, you start up some mines and throw the ore they produce into a forge. You also work at another player's mine.

2. Trading
Skills: None
Required Buildings: None

Ok, this one is a little interesting. There are some products (yes, even in chapter 3) that can be bought for low and sold for high. I've traveled between the two cities and discovered the following rates:

Flour
Lowest Buy: 1 gold for 3 flour (Toontom007's shop) - Avalon
Highest Sell: 2 flour for 1 gold (me75's shop) - Bablyon

Water
Lowest Buy: 1 gold for two water (Akerhi's shop) - Bablyon
Highest Sell: 1 water for 1 gold (Toontom007's shop) - Avalon

So, if you don't mind a little running, you can make a big profit. So long as someone else doesn't get there first.

3. Buying Gold
Skills: Metallurgy
Buildings: Forge

Ok, some of you should know this. Some gold mine owners sell their ore because they don't want to travel the distance to pick it up and bring it to their forge, or they want to have 4 mines running simultaneously (4 building max limit).

So, this gold is sold at a rate of anywhere from 1-4 gold for 5 ore. These are profit-making deals, but require you to have a forge to work all this. Maybe two.

Conclusion
So, those are some ways to make money. Some of you may know all of them, some may know only one.

Hope this helps some people.
