i just died with 90 gold for my next life but now i can get it out nor can i invest back in my pyramid to up its defences

I as well can not claim the gold out of my temple. Or add any gold to the pyramid.

I imagine it has to do with the "alms can only be claimed once per user" script change that was made after the temples were 'robbed'.

Or it has to do with mchales death, he no longer has any followers

yep.

mit, you had done something at one point to make it so we could collect it, but since then the gold saved for our next life (collected from people joining the temple) has been kept from us.
