Can't see island.

I've logged on to Zoric, but I can't see anything except of a small area behind me. I'm using the new galaxy client. Is there a port on my router I need to open? Or is this a bug?

mmmm.. that sounds like a weird one :]

Nothin to do with your router. but mmmm, not sure what it could be.. Possible its some sort of graphic bug, possible its something related to your position on zoric (you're not way out at sea or anything are you?) .. mmm

Any chance you could grab & post a screenshot?

and while your waiting for the screen shot MIT, any chance you could clear all the dead buildings from people's lists. The deceased goods factory came back from the grave to prevent me from buying a very cheap fuel station earlier from the now departed tripp (5s to buy, 112 fuel and over 600s investment gone to scrag now)

Does this happen only on Zoric or is it the same on all worlds?

Jus a guess from the way the landscape is clipping, but to me it kinda looks like the sky might be overwriting the landscape, instead of appearing behind it. Might be your video card isnt properly supporting the sky rendering mode zoric is using.

To confirm its that.. could u try renaming, deleting or moving the following files from ur game folder..

Data\Models\Misc\skydome.atm
Data\Models\Misc\skydome1.atm
Data\Models\Misc\skydome2.atm
Data\Models\Misc\skysphere.atm
Data\Models\Misc\skysphere1.atm
Data\Models\Misc\skysphere2.atm

and see if the landscape appears?

that error appears everythinme on zoric "copy rects failed" i just click ignor and carry n playing it doset seem to affect the game!
