i've found a large collection of city-like buildings.
most are very low poly, like under 50 polies.
most are simple buildings made out of a few squares, some have slants, some have curves.
if anybody would like to help uvmap and texture these buildings, then feel free to download one of the below files. they each have 10 buildings in obj format. if you do decide to map and texture some, then PLEASE post what ones you did in this topic so others don't do them as well, feel free to post a pic/link to them as well if you want.
once completed, if i can get ahold of all of them again, i will put them on tuwr as well.

I'll have a go at cleaning these up and uving a few. The model's positions are like crazy off center and I think they could use a little optimization/tweaking as far as triangles are concerned. (For example I think I could remove maybe four or five faces from the first model and still have it look exactly the same...) I'll probably submit some of the buildings I made recently into this collection.
Some of these make really great starting points for more elaborate buildings.
Where did you get these things, Zar?

i got them from a few large free cityscapes downloaded from a few modeling sites. they weren't textured at all. for each building, i basically selected the entire model except for a building, deleted it all leaving just the building, saved it, then undid the delete and repeated with the next building.
they are off center since i didn't bother centering them after removing them from the large city models. so they will still be in their original x/y/z positions. the model converter can easily center them though.
