full list of TU player names

I'm working on a special project and need a list of TU player names. either a full one, or just the most memorable names please. thanks. just spout of as many names as you can remember. Id get the list started now, but this libraries about to close. thanks everybody.

If you need TU faction history, I'm your man. I'm a book ready to be opened.

In fact, I'm planning to make a TUlibrary website, featuring the history of each known faction in the present and past.

Also, individual player history. It's quite a big project.

Stimutacs needs the names so that he can name streets after players on my planet. My planet will have a map with each street and landmark named, so we figured that it would be cool to land on a world and see your name on the map somewhere. So stimutacs needs a list of playernames that he can use to name stuff. The world map with street labels will be a "book item" that shows a map of the world. This labeled map will be important for completing some of the challenges of my world. If you want your name here or know of some players who would like their name on the world map, then list them here. Players should be current players or players who played the game for any noteable time (A few months at least)

As far as the "library" that stimutacs speaks of, he has no internet connection at home, so he goes to the local library to check his email and the forums.

Here's a few players that I don't think are on the list so far: JayX, Lightmun, Vinnashal, GK8000, Ronday. Having your name on the world is optional, so if you don't want your name on it, tell us before we add the name or we WILL NOT be able remove it. Also, planet names can be submitted as names, but they need to be active worlds (Zion, Zoric, etc.).

How about famous factions. I think they deserve their place just as any other player, such as SR Space Raiders, NR, BG Black Guard, Brazukers, and so on.

Anyhow, here are some names:

Smurfy (Gavinbaisk): Great faction member, leader. And a great world player. Doesn't seem to be active.

Lenin: Great faction leader. Leaded the USSR.

Tirion: An excellent player and faction member. He made his time in space. Doesn't seem to be active.

mark420: Oh what can I say. Words are not enough to express what a great player he is.

thanks for the start. I do think faction names would be good too, cause that way we would include ppl we missed just with their faction, also, it could end up like gang territory haha. no, anyway. yeah could someone also give a complete faction name list too. I'll need around 60 names total for everything, so space is limited.

ok the list is actually done. If you wanna be immortalized, chime in now. the maps wont be done for a week or so, and if youre not on the list ill slide you in if you speak up now. Apologies to anyone i missed. Here is the list, let me know if anything is misspelled, or if any name should be replaced, or if anything is redundant. wow, lol how about afuturepilot??? im still around, and im getting the pilot back this week sometime YAY!! lol there was one on for one night, name was Overcash. but not active anymore. AND WHAT ABOUT LENSMAN???? he was top for a while, gave me his map of all the trade routes

A wonderful project this is, this game has seen great players.

Since there are so many, maybe you should make important spots more for important and more relevant players. While, simpler stuff for the.....mentionable players, but less than others. Just an idea.

another thing to consider is old vs recent/current players.

should the world only recognize those that are around now or have been active recently, like, in the past year or two? or should it also recognize those that were once great and active, but haven't visited for the past 5 years?

It really doesn't matter, as long as some of us actually remember the names, but I'd rather have the names of players who are more likely to return and visit my world than players who haven't played since atractor days. Really, just submit any names that you remember and if there's enough room, we'll need to use some of the older names. I'm sure stimutacs knows which names he should include first and which names to set aside as "fillers" if they're still needed later.

just to let everyone know there will be more than just streets named for players, also any geographical feature will be named on the map(s). rivers, mountains, valleys, feilds, cities, expressways, forests, beaches, oceans... etc. hopefully everyone on the list will get something. thanks for the help!!

Man zar, I miss quite a few chaps in that list, good old days.

And yes this is Malk's random pop in. Was on earlier tweaking around on Warzone. My god, such a planet, I re looked at it, and I could hardly believe how much effort I put into it, and just the fact that I had made it into what it was, never to be used.
