Merry Christmas, and galaxy status, and things like that
Well well well, it's that time of year already. And what a year we've had! Almost nothing has happened :]
Anyway, today's the day when I must leave the galaxy to the tender mercies of the winter weather as I travel around the country for Christmas, trying to be nice to people. Our regular listeners will know what this normally means: after weeks of uptime, the galaxy will crash about ten minutes after I shut the door, and you'll all be locked out for a week or so until I'm back to reboot it.
Fingers crossed that this won't happen, of course.
In the meantime, I apologise if you're one of the people who've asked me to do things (forum registrations, mending game stuff, wotever) and I haven't: I'm still waiting for any kind of response from Mit, who has been rather busy with his work things, and who we need to mend all the things that are currently broken.
Anyway: have yourselves a merry little Christmas (or religious or non-religious holiday experience of your choice) and see you all next year, probably for more of the same nothing very much :]

Well its true that TU isnt the happy populated game it once used to be. But with some effort on bug fixes (by Mit) and some Advertising this game will be back or better than what it used to be.
So if anything comes up I'll lend a hand at any beta testing or texturing.
(Sounds like there should be texturing contests for future game models or re-texturing of current models to give it an updated look.)
And yes I said advertising. and you the staff will probably say: this game is still a beta we are not advertising. and here is my reply: Advertising is a good move. Why? because it will bring more interest more donations will be made and more modelers and textures and maybe coders that can help with the development of TU. Yes the forums might be flooded with questions and junk but thats part of hosting a game and a forum. And if the game advances enough you guys could make special items or "cheat" there way to a strong ship by buying their way with real money and turn this game into a source of income.
Still say no to advertising? Think about it.
