Heheh. I dunno, the game's a bit quiet and broken but nonetheless there are people who enjoy playing their own game by surfing the line between roleplaying and trolling - usually on the roleplaying side, I might add - and everyone else just suffers a sense of humour failure and starts taking it all seriously. You's all very silly :]

I see your point but, just like a joke, it gets old, especially when its in every topic that is created on the forum.Fooli wrote:Heheh. If the game actually had something to play, in other words, if the game was actually playable (people like to call it a virtual chatroom), people wouldn't resort to "roleplaying". Ever thought of that?Fooli wrote:Heheh. Sense of humour failure? Just what is your point? That we're silly? What,... you're going to degenerate the little active players this failed project has for what they like to make of it? And how are you helping? Keeping the galaxy up? Big deal.
Do you realise that you're the only one trolling here while the others were trying make something entertaining of this game (roleplaying) ? By the way, you're in no place to judge if we're taking it seriously or not, don't you think?
"You's" calling players silly doesn't help. Quit your criticism.

in this severe state of the galaxy, we must not lose focus... NR, SR, BG, or what have you, we must all realise that we are all children of this universe... siblings...
indeed This forum is dedicated to the planet of Sargent.... The base of operations for the NR. tis true, it seems as if space were unplayable, there are no "roles to play" as mishka was saying.
allow me to rebutt! If we stop playing, this is the moment we grow old... and that is the moment the next generation gets to play, and we become hardened... bitter. yes...
But it is also true that Space is real life... there is no playing involved when the hands of fate dispence power... tis only up to the brave and true... the ones who love and protect the galaxy. yes... and the power which lies there-in. I will admit, I took some of mishka and zaroba's words out of context... perhaps even editing them entirely to change the facts into what should be... but as you humons are well aware, this is an old media tactic to keep the populous from... how should i put this... asking too many questions. Since diplomatic relations between Zoric enterprises and the NR are suffering, and we wish to keep the peace between our mighty-power hungry- empire, and this great mega-conglomerate of financial -wheels in motion- style of power... tis important to us.
as for Mishka and the Rest of BG.... they are a scourge... only wish to plague this galaxy with naysayings.... While skilled with the laser... they stand for evil.. considering the piracy of their actions as "playing" the great one will not have this... nor will his puppe...uh...i mean... leader of NR, speedy.

Oh I see - you really didn't get it. The roleplayers are entertaining. It's people who take them seriously and get upset who are silly. The upset crowd would seem to include you, given your responses. Nobody accused you of anything: you simply rose to bait that wasn't even there for you, and so proved my point. Congrats :)Mishka wrote:Like you had any. You think there's a point in calling roleplayers silly and judging their sense of humour? Help yourself.Fooli wrote:Way to prove my point, Mishka :]

While we're in "help yourself" mode, if you consider this a failed project and have criticisms of it, and the people who run it, then why are you still here? Enjoy life elsewhere, or decide to enjoy life here.
It's just a game, relax ;]

I'm sorry, I can't fix it: we're still waiting for Mit. I'm seeing him this weekend, so I'll give him an in-person nudge to go with all the email nudges he's already been sent.Gorach wrote:2Fooli sorry for my question, but what about 0.0 gal. cr. problems?!! -) It's a fatal crash for playing... wow, this topic has really gone wacky while i was at work.
fooli, while yes, some of us might take things seriously, you must also look at it the other way. there are also people who seem to take everything as a joke regardless of who is/was/will be offended or annoyed by what they say without the slightest care for others opinions or feelings.
perfect example being stim, you ask a yes or no question and then spend 5 mins reading threw a reply with no direct answer, or you get a direct answer that has various condescending statements. both can get very annoying very fast
if you worked with somebody like that, would you talk to them often?
or would you quickly grow to despise having to be near them due to them constantly talking your ear off and being rude towards you?
