Yeah, i remember NFL had 3 types of bans:
1. Account ban - damned easy avoidable. Create a new one.
2. IP Ban - mostly unavoidable, but some people have a dynamic IP.
3. Computer Type ban - Only way to avoid it, is buy a new computer. Don't know how exactly it works, but it registers something you can't change and only applies to you.

well...nothing is perfect.
the following goes for way more then this situation:
no matter what is done to prevent cheating.
no matter what is done to keep out a person who shoulden't be in.
no matter what you do to make eveything nice and fair.
an innocent action will be effected by it.
an example is the same ip/different computer players being unable to interact.
this very nicely prevents people with access to multiple computers from just making multies and pooling the money. the side effect, a minor issue of legit people playing from the same network being unable to interact.
