My world refuses to go online

Post by Skwerl »

I have been trying to create a world for years, but the guide says nothing about how to even get it online. I am using a wireless connection if that has anything to do with it. With only a few functioning worlds, TU seems to be in desperate need of new ones, and I can't help in this situation.

have you read threw: http://www.theuniversal.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=132 yet?

if you have a router, you might have to forward the ports.

if its offline to you, but online to others, you might just need to set up a reroute.txt file

I have a router, but I am connecting to it wirelessly...would you suppose it would work if I attempted to use the desktop that is next to the router rather than the laptop far away from it? The only issue is that I would much rather work on it here, and there are no TU-related files downloaded to the desktop.

no difference between wired and wireless when it comes to networks.
still might have to set up port forwarding.
