book items: how much regular text can they display?

one of the new features of Xebec III will be a church building that players can build. in addition to making and selling "prayers" (a usable item) the church will make and sell 1 or more holy book items.

these holy books will not only describe the origins of the universe, but will also lay out secrets and details of play in space. (no not alien locations) also, if possible, it will lay out in detail how the planet was built ( a simple tutorial on heighmaps, texmaps, surface tiles, b-dats, sysop commands, scritping... etc). and also will describe the "quests" on xebec in a prophetic style.

its alot to write, but i want the players to have something thats just too much to read all at once, like a holy book

so does anyone know how many lines of text (not html) 1 book can hold?

books work with 200+ lines
lines over 60 characters long will get wrapped
