i cant bloody get into zoric anymore......everytime i try getting on it like jams on 1/24k loading Zoric Map and then it waits den like a minute later im kiked out its very weird and never has happened to me b4 cud someone hlep me out here?

yea, seems a few can't get in zoric anymore.
am thinking orf recsetting it anyway. think the lag problem that was around a bit ago messed up some files

Hey Odin, I found a simple fix for this problem that worked for me, and some others too.

Option one is to connect to Reine and then hit F1 to go into small mode. Then under the options tab find "Start in small mode" and check it.

Now connect to zoric and it should let you in, just wait for the "Enter Island" button to be available.

Option two is to just connect to Zoric normally and when you see any type of download, mash F1 and let it take you to small mode, and then click the "enter island" button when it shows up.

mmm.. now someones mentioned the copy rects error, i wonder if this was perhaps all jus caused by the welcome screen? The small fix kinda might suggest that, and if its fullscreen maybe some ppl arent getting the proper error dialog.
If you hear of anymore problems like this zar, id suggest turning off your welcome screen for a bit and see if it makes any difference for ppl..

the welcome screen is nothing but a white jpg with text
btw, why not let the welcome screen be a bmp also?
my welcome screen is much smaller as a monochrome bitmap then as a 256 color jpg

nothin to do with the image, zar, jus think that the different rendering modes for the while gone screen might be causing problems. For instance, If you're using the mode that draws the image at its actual size and the player's screen is smaller than the image, then it might well cause a crash or lock up on join.
