finite drive

i was just wondering about the finite drive, some ppl i know have 7 listings on it, yet i only have 3, whats all that about?

Ahh, well it's all about finite improbability, innit :]

The list of worlds on the finite drive is actually controlled by the chat server. I'm waiting (and have been for some time) for some chat server config work to be done, by Magicfinger, so we can update the finite list.

The reason for mentioning that is, I suspect the reason the list is different for you and for others is because you've got the finite list at different times, and since we haven't updated it for some time now, that means there could be a significant difference between the lists (eg someone who's been playing for years would have many more worlds than someone who's only been playing for a short while).

Or I could be wrong, and it's just improbability gremlins. Either way I wouldn't worry about it - as soon as I get the control I need I'm gonna update the list anyway.

that would indicate a client side file storing the drive listing wouldn't it?
know what it is? i could upload mine for you to download.

really though all that matters is that the planets on your list are up.
what are the 3 worlds on your list?
i have 7 on mine, but the only ones ever up are zoric, 420, and sometimes ariya.

mine list zion, the republic and mechzone, im sure if you described to me where to find the file i could find it pretty easy, cheers for the responce, i just daint want to be missing out on anything
