I'm leaving TU. There's just too much shinola I just can't handle. Ended up being accused of account theft, and of being insane.

I'm not angry or anything, but you know...., when a guy has had enough, he has had enough. I see have crossed the line. For my own good and for the community's, I'm off.

I hope Mit returns, and gets the game up and running, don't really want to see this game fall. Guys if he doesn't return, don't let it fall, please.

Yes, I'm leaving for good this time, I have sold everything on the planets, and I have kissed the sun. I'm getting a friend to change my forum password to any shinola, so that temptation doesnt overcome me.

I'm also done with online gaming, these games just stress me rly. So I think I should drop the internet, and focus even more on my life. Getting a job... and new gf.... etc....

I hope you all don't forget me, coz I'm not forgetting you. You are all great people, I want you all to know that. I hope my only contribution to the community (videos, and collection of screenshots) brings you more players.

it is a sad thing indeed. to see a member of NR with so much potential, leave at an instant. i shall finish where you left off mishka. but i fear that sr is already in the dust pile unless a miracle was to occur.

I will miss you mishka ol' pal.

I too can feel the pull of the outside world away from the game. In less than a month's time, I will be starting college and the only way to fight off sleep deprivation may depend on me cutting unecessary aspects of my life out. I'm hoping it won't come to anything like mishka's burning of bridges, but I feel I should be open about my concerns.

With any luck, my TU participation might actually improve. At least then I'll have highspeed internet. Might even be able to find some new recruits (I'll aim for computer science majors

). Worst case is that I'll disappear until next summer.

Btw. I'm going to try to get flametard's medieval infantryman put together and then that might be it from me for about a month, while I get ready/settled.

Oh Mishka, I knew the preassure would make you leave. You held long enough, many have left earlier because they simply could not tolerate it, you had long patience.

I don't know what made him leave SR, and turn against it, but I'm sure there was a good reason, he always told me he'd loved it's members and would always be loyal. Anyhow, I must know, Mishka if you're reading this, please mail me or something, I don't know why you don't get on msn anymore. Well I'm going to mail you today anyway.

Ah such a great warrior, so loyal to his friends, I remember he always used to protect me while trading. He was so brave, he didn't care if he had to take on 2 or 3, he just went for it with all his might.

I admired him really, he never had a negative spirit before a fight, he was always confident. And he had a very good reason, let's face it; He was good.

You know I never got Mishka to get mad at me, I don't know what kind of stuff happens in SR, but he doesn't usually go ballistic on his own friends, nothing like that ever happened to me, so I insist on there must have been a very good reason. Because I don't know Mishka as a traitor, I know him as a very loyal friend. He protected me instead of betraying.

I think there is more to Mishka's betrayal than it seems.

I think we should grant him his only wish before leaving: To never forget him.

And he doesn't deserve to be forgetted, even after what happened, although he's going to tell me over email with all details. I hope.

So let's not forget Mishka, and let's remember all the good times we had with him, I had many myself. Let's forget the last incident, because I'm sure Mishka had his reasons, notice how he kept repeating it. He doesn't deserve to be cursed by his last actions, because he has done many others to counter it.

He was a good pal, always made me laugh. Now I can't believe he's gone, but I knew the preassure was building up. To many had left already for the same reasons, why would he be any exception?

You got a place in our memories Mishka. And in this game's memory, I'm sure your name will be repeated again and again. But I don't like saying goodbye. I'll say cya.

P.S. About time I registered on the forums!

sorry to see you leave.

but why leave at all?
if the games are 'getting to you' then figure out what part of them is annoying you and avoid that part.

if its a player, then just ignore them. don't chat to them, don't bother them, just act as if they are nobody at all. if they try to talk to you, just ignore them or say something like 'whatever, i don't care' and don't get into any conversations with them.

if its an area of a game (like space), then try different things instead (like worlds)

maybe all you need is a break. if you feel like nothing helps and you can't avoid the stress that some cause, then take a break for a month or two like i did 2 years ago. it really does help to clear your mind.

Cross out my previous promise to get the medieval guy done. I'll have to wait until after I'm settled. Unless I'm really swamped and sleep deprived, I'll get it done by the end of September.

I'd work on it this weekend, but I need to transfer all my files to my new (and significantly more powerful

) computer. It would go a little faster if my USB drive I'm using for transferring weren't only 256MB. Alas, my new 4GB one is still at the store.

Most of it is just a big bunch of persistance...just keep distorting boxes, spheres and cylinders long enough and they start looking like stuff (maybe not the stuff you intended...

).

I'm not sure what I'm going to do about a texture. That's always the really tricky part for me. I "wish i could wrap my brain around those" texturing programs the way jaye and fooli can.
