Running in Wine?

I just get a black screen.

I don't want to have to reboot to Windows every time I want to play. The Universal doesn't seem to have a page on the AppDB.

Running under anything except windows isn't supported, and actually isn't really smiled upon either. Unix and variants are great, blah blah blah, but as you can probably tell we barely support windows properly, let alone any other OS :]

If you insist, you're on your own. Sorry.

I was asking for the community's help. I recall the game working in Wine in the past for some people.

Its running on wine!!!!

today i tried running TU with the current wine version (1.0 rc3) in xubuntu 8.04 and it worked for me. although the game crashed the first time, i tried to connect to a world it worked for me the secont time i tried. ill post some screenshots later.....

It's good to hear that it's working. I was using a pre-RC release.
