I will follow your advise, and everyone's else.kb32a wrote:The music isn't that bad, but it doesn't really fit in with the video. The green boxes (what are those btw?) aren't all that pleasing either. Still a nice video though. Don't stop making vids because one newb who's been a member for a day doesn't like it.

I think I agree more with VDZ, the music is somewhat annoying at times, but at several points throughout the video it matches well with the graphics.
I would suggest either slicing off part of the long sequence where you are trailing me while firing lasers and a couple missiles or speeding the whole thing up a bit. The only reason I didn't do either with the stock footage is so you had the option to choose which one would give the best results.
Edit:
To give you a more detailed response on how to improve this (and possibly future) video(s) I've re-watched it and broke my opinions down by time.
Beginning to ~35 seconds: it's a nice start, opening with your little spin move was probably one of the best ways to do it.
35 seconds to 1:20 : as stated with earlier comment...the viewer is just waiting for something to happen...and it never does...partly my fault of course...
1:20 to 1:37 : This dramatically flying in circles stuff goes along well with the minor lulling of the music during this period...it might look a little better though if you change over to the scene of me shooting you from the rear just as the drum beats start at 1:37; instead of a few seconds earlier
1:37 to 2:38 : I have no big complaints with this portion...only real concern is that the continuous scene from 2:00 to 2:41 doesn't match well with the more brief views during this high-tempo portion...don't get me wrong though...it is a fairly eventful section of video...although, might want to splice it up a bit, perhaps, adding sections of it to other areas to better the timing.
2:38 to 3:08 : Speaking of timing, if the music makes a major mood change as it does at 2:38 would be nice if a video transition was also made at the same time...
the music artist goes into a rather drawn out attempt to increase the level of excitement (not your fault obviously) starting at about 1:51... I consider the music during the entire segment to be a bit awkward...not sure how you could fix it...but at least you know my opinion of it...
3:08 to End : At this point I get the feeling you were either getting tired of putting the footage together or were running out of good footage...I know the feeling...might be better just to abbreviate the ending so as not to loose the viewer's attention before the end...
EMs are always nice though...
