fhko had a few there sitting in his garage.... I felt sad for them so I told him to give those babies a fly and there they are.

Now this makes me mad, you know why? Because you come here and say the video is horrible without making any suggestions. Do you know how rude that is?

... why the strong reaction. It's low qual probably because it's recorded on free-ish software AND hosted on the Tubes (although I guess it *could* be interpreted as a blanket comment on the quality of the video, I doubt blobber would phrase it that way if it was). So music is really the only factor you can control and it's not really that rude to say the music (the one factor you have the most control over) is bad, especially because tastes in music vary widely.

My reaction was negative because he didn't even have the respect to tell me how to improve it (suggestions), he just said the video is horrible... bah.. nvm then..

I'm aware the video quality isn't great...can't do much better with freeware on a five year old computer (that wasn't that great to begin with). Re-rendering it at least three times from the original recording doesn't help it much either...

But as Gavin said, if you have the resources/money, feel free to show us up...I wouldn't take it personally...

its a nice video. kinda blurry, but thats nothing too bad. its a good example of space combat.
erm...what are the green boxes over the ships?

mind if i get a copy of the video to put on tuwr?

no need to stop posting videos just because of a few negative comments. its quite normal for people to only voice negative opinions about things and not think of telling what they like.

hehe...green boxes are my poor attempt at a 3rd person view enhancement...didn't have time to switch models (to the non-green box version) during the recording, flying around and fighting...

I believe you already have the stock footage...(name: SpaceSwarm)...Mishka is only one with the enhanced version..

I've looked at the video a few times again, and I still like it, but I need your opinions on this. Is the music really that bad?

The quality is what you can get in the game, I can't do magic.

I think the video is ok, but maybe I see it that way because I participated in it's production.

The music isn't that bad, but it doesn't really fit in with the video. The green boxes (what are those btw?) aren't all that pleasing either. Still a nice video though. Don't stop making vids because one newb who's been a member for a day doesn't like it.
