PC Gamer Magazine article

A Tractor recently got another mention in the UK magazine PC Gamer - 'The UK's Best Selling PC Games magazine' (And a lovely magazine it is too. Everyone should go out and buy it every month. In fact twice a month.) (This has nothing to do with the fact that they're nice to our game, of course :] ), which i thought would be nice to pass on..

Its not a full article this time.. just a few lines inside a 5 page article
about odd games old and new, entitled "World of the Strange" :]

"... A tractor, which is essentially Elite with tractors, also demands
all sorts of special love. After downloading a free client, you're able
to connect to worlds - or Islands, in the game's parlance - where you
can either take part in a trade-and-work economy similar to EVE Online
or just have it out. But - well - in a tractor."

The article also has a separate box with the web-link captioned with "And finally, A-Tractor's website, because tractors are lovely"

Well they are tho, arent they. You couldnt really hate a tractor now could ya?


Well except when you're stuck behind one for half a feckin hour on a narrow country lane with the (probably drunk) driver plodding along at a velocity that doesnt even register on the speedometer of the average family saloon car. The feckers. Gawd i hate em.

lol, finally after a year and 2 months tractors in the magazine again... i knew they couldn't keep it out :)

but they really should do a follow up review, since that was 2 versions ago now... oh well

Ah yes...PCGamer...the reason I played here in the first place. The spike in players in January 2001 was due to a single page in PCG talking about a-tractor, and the author must had been spaced out because there were no islands whatsoever which matched his description and he was using preview 04 photos (which back then were a distant hazy idea...) I liked the theme of tractors and beer though...as did many people...

i am waiting for when a-tractor is on the front cover of pc gamer :D ill buy 10 copies !
