Mit's new version

Post by Mit »

Hullo all..

Heres a screenshot of Mit's new version..

Image
This new version has a number of interesting features, mostly in the areas of garbage collection and surround sound.

It works in full 3d and has its own audio system but the controls seem to be rather broken at the moment. It does, however, include some interesting neural networking technologies that hopefully will mean it will 'learn' and refine its own control code in time.
We're currently working on developing some new mini-games on the new system - 'Spot the parent' and 'bouncing up and down and going "gooo" ' are currently in the beta-testing stage.
In light of this new development, we will, of course, need to rename the whiskey donation fund to the 'Baby's Whiskey Donation fund'.

Anyway.. with all this new technology to work on, im sure you can appreciate that i might have my hands full for a while, and so new code for The Universal might be a little slow coming ("So nothing new there then" i hear you cry..). Hopefully I will have a chance to update the game and give you some new toys (including the new interior systems, a new model editor, and some more 'clan' features in the client) somepoint in the not-too-far future while the new version is in 'sleep' mode.

8) Congratulations. Is this when the cigars are handed out. :D
Plus if there are any bugs that bite ya, at least we know the reason why. Mit's new version is giving him and his better half a hard time. Yep I may even start donating to the new 'Baby's Whiskey Donation fund'.
